Nehru Cup 2012: Cameroon dashes Nepal's hope with a superb victory

Cameroon sealed an emphatic victory over Nepal as they completely dominated Nepal from the start to finish. Cameroon will rejoice as they produced a flawless performance. On the other hand Nepalese players were never in the match as they just let Cameroonian player dictate the match. Cameroon won the match 5-0.

Cameroon began to show their superior right from the start. Kolongy Merime scored in the 13th minute to take the lead for Cameroon. Ebanga Bertin made it two in the 41st minute. The goal was due to sloppy goal kick from Nepalee goalie Ritesh Thapa. The first half of the match ended in 2-0 scoreline for Cameroon.

It took 16 minute for Cameroon to add to the scoreline as Kolongy Merime scored his second and team's third in 61st minute of the match. Ebanga Bertin also scored his second and team's fourth in 66th minute as Nepalese players looked dejected and played without purpose. Momaso Joseph added team's fifth goal in 77th minute as Cameroon completely destroyed hapless Nepalese defense. One interesting fact from the match was that Nepal never managed to have a single shot on goal.
