Nehru Cup 2012: Nepal announced final squad for Nehru Cup 2012

Nepal National team head coach Krishna Thapa announced the name of 21-member final squad for Nehru Cup 2012 scheduled to start from August 22 at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, New Delhi, India.

Final squad

Goalkeeper: Kiran Chemzong, Ritesh Thapa and Bikesh Kuthu

Defender: Sagar Thapa, Sandip Rai, Rohit Chand, Biraj Maharjan, Sabindra Shrestha and Bikash Singh Chhetri

Midfielder: Raju Tamang, Nirajan Khadka, Bhola Silwal, Rupesh KC, Jagjeet Shrestha, Bijaya Gurung and Anil Ojha

Forward: Jumanu Rai, Santosh Sahukhala, Anil Gurung, Bharat Khawas and Sujal Shrestha.

Nepal will take on Maldives in their opener match on August 23 while Cameroon on August 26, host India on August 28 and Syria on August 30.

Defending Champion India will take on Syria in the opening match of the tournament on August 22.

Each team will play against each other and the top two teams will be qualified for the final scheduled to be held on September 2
