Uzbekistan U19 team absolutely demolished Nepal U19 team in today's round of matches in the AFC U19 qualifiers held at Doha, Qatar. Uzbekistan U19 won the match 5-0. Shomurodov Eldor scored a superb hattrick in the process for Uzbekistan.
Nepal absolutely played a dismal game from the start till finish. Nepal's goalie Brijesh Kumar Singh showed his lack of confidence as he gifted 2 easy goals to Uzbekistan in the first half. Normurodov Najmiddin scored from a free-kick in the 14th minute of the match as he caught Brijesh out of position from goal line. Shomurodov Eldor scored from Brijesh's howler in the 35th minute of the match. The first half of the match finished 2-0 in favour of Uzbekistan.
Nepal's misery were made worse in the 48th minute of the match as Bikash Shrestha received a straight red card for a foul in the penalty area. Davlatov Bobir scored Uzbekistan's third in the 49th minute of the match through penalty. Shomurodov Eldor scored his second and third in the 62nd and 71st minute of the match to complete his hattrick as he sealed the emphatic win for Uzbekistan. Uzbekistan won the match 5-0.
In another match, host Qatar absolutely thrashed Turkmenistan 7-0. Al Nasr scored a hattrick while Al Sadi scored a brace. al Jabali and Sergne Thaim also scored a goal each for Qatar. Turkmenistan's Mirsultanov Dovletgeldi got two yellow cards resulting into sending off in the 58th minute.
