Oct. 16- ANFA Academy U-15 went down to Brazil's Colegio Estadul Santo Anotoni 1-0 in the quarter-finals of the Subroto International Cup in New Delhi on Thursday.
In a keenly contested encounter, ANFA, which is fielding its u-15 team in the U-17 championship, conceded the only goal of the match in the 54th minute.

According to coach Upendra Man Singh, the team from Brazil was the best among the participating 32 teams. They had qualified to quarter-finals on the back of 37 goals scored in the group stages.
" It was a tough match, but our boys played very well. I am must say, our overall performance in the championship was very satisfying," he said, adding that a simple mistake from Kshitiz Raj GT cost the team dear.
Man Singh compared the Brazilian side to the Anderlecht U-19 team that Nepal U-16 team had played prior to their AFC U-16 Championship campaign in the Thailand.
"They were very fast, but we gave them a good fight. I am happy the boys played according to the team strategy and they put into use what I had taught them in trainings. They have a good future," said Man Singh.
