In the first match played between Himalayan Sherpa Club and A Division new comers Boy's Union Club, former club won 2 - 0 against the new outfit. The first half was all about missed chances for the eventual winners. Boys Union club with their new set of players seemed to have not gel at all. Their lack of co-ordination was evident in the game as Himalayan Sherpa Club out muscled them in every front.
The second was pretty much the same, with Himalayan Sherpa getting all the possession but lacking the killer instinct infront of the box. But, against the run of play the much organised defence of Boys' Union finally gave way a weak effort by Himalayan Sherpa's Dhiraj Tamang couldn't be gathered by Boy's Union goalkeeper and it rolled past the line to give Sherpa's the lead in 70th minute. After the goal, Sherpa seemed relaxed and their prowess in the attack seemed to gain momentum, and in the 88th minute Subash Gurung B powerful shot wasn't gathered by the Boy's Union goalkeeper and the rebound fell to Raju Yogi who also just managed to rattle the Boy's Union's bar. But, the rebound fell to the eventual goal scorer Jas Rai, who cooly slotted the ball past the goal-line to make it 2 - 0 for the Himalayan Sherpa Club.
In the second match, Jawlakhel Youth Club beat Friends Club 1 - 0. Friends Club were pretty much in the game througout the time but Jawalakhel snatched the win in the dying moments. All of the game was long shots from outside of box and this showed both teams were on a equal footing. Only Friends Club had more possesion on the ball. First half substitute, Firon Magaranti scored in the 80th minute from a great cross from the flank. Firon Magaranti was in the right place to tap in the goal.
