July 8, 2015 – The South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) U-16 Championship will be held in Sylhet, Bangladesh from Aug. 7- 16, the SAFF confirmed through a circular on Wednesday.
The ANFA Academy U-16 that was finalized on July 3 will be representing the country in the championship. There are a total of 31 players in the U-16 section.
The selection process started from early April but the final selection phase was postponed due to the earthquake on April 25. Some of the U-14 players, who took part in recently held AFC U-14 Regional Festival of Football in Tajikistan, have been included in U-16 Academy.
All the member assocatios of the SAFF will be competing in the championnship.

ANFA has revealed the list of 18 players of U12 squad for the Football Festival to be held in South Korea in August.
The nationwide selection process which featured over thousands of players was completed today. 670 players took part in the two-day selection period which started on Sunday at ANFA Complex, Satdobato. The players who came through preliminary selection in respective districts were also present in the selection.
167 players featured in second round which was later cut down to 54. The final list of 18 player was listed after a final phase of selection. The final list of 12 players will be revealed before travelling to Korea for the Festival.

The All Nepal Football Association on Friday finalised the U-14 and U-16 squads for the ANFA Academy.
A total of 47 players — 16 in U-14 and 31 in U-16 — have been picked following the two-day final selection that ended on Friday, the ANFA informed in a release. "The final list comprises previous academy players and newly selected ones from the nationwide trials. The selection process began in early April but the final selection was postponed due to the April 25 earthquake."
The release added: "Some of the U-14 players, who took part in recently held AFC U-14 Regional Festival of Football in Tajikistan have also been included in U-16 Academy. The U-16 academy players will represent Nepal in the upcoming SAFF U-16 Championship after further selection." The players will be kept at the residential ANFA Academy, which will take care of the footballers.

Daniel David Katwal, son of famous hair-stylist Neil David Katwal, is travelling to London to attend a week-long training at the English Premier League side Manchester United.
The training will be held from July 5-10.
According to the Manchester United Soccer Schoool's schedule, the camp for the 12-14 years group will start at Denstone College on July and finish at Old Trafford on July 10.
The School's Senior Football Training Camps offer a comprehensive coaching programme, modelled on MUFC Academy training, and are designed to challenge young athletes to progressively develop their skills and confidence.
The 12-year-old footballer had earlier attended a two-month training camp in Bangkok under former Liverpool Football Club player Kevin Watt. Katwal was highly rated by the coach then.
Katwal is currently training under former Nepal national team skipper Raju Kaji Shakya at National Football Academy in Shankhamul.
After the Manchester United training, Katwal will travel to Italy at the end of 2015 to take part in another training camp.

ANFA Academy U-14 crashed out of Subrato International Football Championship after going down to Mizoram Team 2-0 on Friday.
Having won both their group matches against Sainik School and Chattisgarh, ANFA Academy U-14 had to beat Mizoram State Team to go through the second round, but Mizoram proved to a tough nut to crack. With the win, Mizoram qualified as the winner of group C. Only one team from the group qualifies to the next round.
