Jhapa XI has won ANFA Cup Football Tournament beating Kathmandu-based 10 men Sankata Club 4-0.
The match played at Dasharath Stadium in Tripureshwor, Naren Limbu, Karna Limbhu, Bikash Rai and Buddha Chemjong scored goal apiece for Jhapa XI against Sankata to lift the new season´s first title.
Sankata was reduced to 10 players after Sankata defender Suraj Thing received red card at 53rd minute of the match.
In the semifinals, Sankata had defeated departmental team Tribhuvan Army Club 1-0 while Jhapa XI, a team from Eastern Region, had beaten Nepal APF Club 2-0.
With the win, Jhapa XI has also bagged Rs 10,00000 as prize money.
